Double Fine’s ‘Oh So Fine’ Bundle Is Triple Fine

Just because Double Fine doesn’t have enough of your money already, Amazon is offering a pretty swell deal — selling Psychonauts, Stacking and Costume Quest for $9.99 on PC.

Psychonauts, obviously, is a bit of a classic, so if you haven’t had the chance to play it yet, now’s as good a Double Fine time to give it a bash. As for the two others, well I enjoyed both, particularly Stacking — which has an awesome little central mechanic. I didn’t enjoy Costume Quest so much, mainly because I’m not the biggest fan of turn based RPGs. That said, it has some really sharp writing and an adorable art style.

So, in conclusion… this sounds like a Triple Fine deal from Double Fine.

My name is Mark Serrels, and that was possibly the worst sentence I have ever written.

EDIT: Looks as though the deal isn’t available to us in Australia — but thankfully, as Beavwa kindly pointed out, the deal is available on Steam.

  • Unfortunately, if you check the individual items (well, I checked Stacking) it has the following:

Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address.
Note: Gifting is not available for this item.

Not sure if that would apply to the bundle as a whole, but one would assume so.

  • It says US only 🙁 does it work if maybe I make an amazon account with a fake US address? Or is it based on my IP address? It’s odd Amazon won’t let any other regions but the US access their store, usually there’s only issues with new releases.

    • I can confirm this works if you use a US address on an Amazon account, also I wish Brutal Legend came out on PC!

  • You know a company has its hooks in you when you’re tempted to buy 3 games of theirs that you already own. Curse you, Schafer!

  • I just managed to purchase it through Amazon and claim the steam keys on my Australian Steam account.

All I did was change my address to a US address on my Amazon account then proceeded to use my visa debit card details with the purchase . Then in my games section in my Amazon account the steam keys were there to cut and paste 🙂

Beats paying an extra $20 🙂

  • Good luck getting Psychonauts to work consistently on modern PC’s. I gave up a long time ago. Waiting – without holding my breath – for a HD release on xbox live , or something like that.
