Morning everyone! Let’s get this week cracking. Believe in the strength of video game news to project you into the milieu. And coffee. Or something.
The Spike VGAs happened over the weekend but I honestly couldn’t tell you who won, whether or not it was any good, or anything. All I really care about is the announcements. The new stuff. The trailers. Dark Souls II’s announcement was the one that got me all hot and bothered, but there was a handful of other exciting things.
Also — BioShock Infinite. US Editor-in-Chief Stephen Totilo spent almost five hours with the game and put together a fairly massive account of that time spent. Must read stuff. The new trailer that goes along with it is a must see.
Going back to Dark Souls — this speed run made me feel pretty bad about myself and the time I spent playing that game. It took this guy three minutes to do what took me an estimated eight hours. And this eight year old kid wouldn’t advise Call of Duty for younger kids. Hilarious!
