         I actually didn’t like it at first because it was drastically different from his first. I was expecting the more chilled out style. Needless to say, it grew on me after a few listens.

   At this very moment I’m listening to Epica because I’ll be seeing them twice next week and I’m very excited.
   Also been playing Amaranthe’s latest a lot and enjoying it way more than their previous album.
   And I can’t stop listening to Heavatar, the new power metal side project from one of the Van Canto guys.
   Speaking of power metal, I’m hoping to be listening to a lot of Gloryhammer soon, just waiting for it to arrive. It’s been an incredibly good couple of years in my music world. 😀

   It’s strange, but I never really used to listen to anything. But then I got completely sick of the radio in my car, so now that’s the only place where music gets listened to. It’s pretty much always the same thing though – the entirety of Judas Priest, with some de Blob and OC Remix in there 😛 Recently went through the CDs in the house and added Cat Empire and Living End to the mix, among a couple of others.

    Right now I’m listening to the GundeadliGne Arranged Soundtrack. I have the Gundemonium and Hitogata Happa soundtracks as well as the ExCeed 2nd – Vampire REX, ExCeed 3rd – Jade Penetrate and ExCeed 3rd – Jade Penetrate Black Package soundtracks queued up as well.

    Seeing They Might Be Giants in a couple weeks, so reaquainting myslef with some of their stuff. Other than that though…I’ve been cranking Paul Simon to drown out the sounds of crickets at my desk. They’re in the walls or something, and it’s very very annoying.

    After finishing DmC I’ve gone back and been listening to some tracks from the soundtrack. I never thought I’d be listening to a band called combichrist. And of course they always awesome Noisia who I’ve enjoyed for a while and also on the DmC soundtrack.

    I just want to chime in slightly off topic with my annoyance that A$AP ROCKY chose that name when a far, far better artist already had such a similar name.

    New Paramore album was released yesterday, so have been listening to that…..

    I’ve usually got a very broad music taste though. As far as “mainstream” music goes I guess Paramore is my guilty pleasure, if you will.

    Otherwise Jezabels are on high rotation, as is IO [the British post-rock band, not the german one!]

    Currently on my list are James Blake’s new album.
    Something about RZA rapping about Fish and Chips and a pint of Stout is so appealling.

    Also The Knife’s new album. Not an easy listen though… very hard going. but amazing none the less.
