   I don’t see why they haven’t brought SNES titles to the 3DS, surely that would make a wad of cash. Look at PSone games on the Vita, they pretty much keep the console alive.

      Damn straight. As a previous SNES owner, I’m really hanging out for it.

      What’s got me scratching my head is the absolute paucity of titles available. I mean, WTF? You buy a console, you want some options with games.

      Where (TF) is Mariokart? Zelda? Metroid? Donkey Kong? Even the SNES versions would be welcome at this point!

         Yes, the really slow pace of the releases is quite a puzzle too. Sony have done a good job of keeping pace in getting the titles dumped into the PSN.

         Nintendo don’t seem to care all that much about what the fans want and are sticking to their business plan, whatever that may be, without making what you think was the easy bucks.

         If I had a chance to play the Secret of Mana series again on this Virtual Console I’d be all over it 😀

            I never played it. At the time, it was known as the nr 1 RPG, followed by zelda.

            It’s funny you mention it, I was just thinking today that I’d totally buy it and play it if it came out right now, just so I’d have something to play on my wii u.

            Although i did pick up ‘punch out’ the other day for 30c and it’s quite fun. Music brings back crazy NES memories.

               I was more into George Forman’s KO Boxing, though I think that was for the SNES rather than the NES. I remember it had a good ‘progressive skill’ element to the game. Twas insanely fast when you near the belt 🙂

   The full service is coming next week? That’s cool I guess, but where are the new releases? Y’know, the real games?
