Like some games, The Last of Us has had its share of bugs. Annoying, but that’s what patches are for! In the meantime, the bugs can strike terror in the hearts of gamers everywhere.
Or, you know, make them burst out laughing. Here’s a look at some of the more amusing Last of Us glitches.
Some of the clips are in Japanese — that’s not a bug! The game was recently released in Japan, and gamers are also having fun spotting the game’s glitches.
Naughty Dog, the game’s developer, has been patching the game, bugs and sexy mistakes are being taken care of, bit by bit.

I had a strange glitch/bug – when I restored the power to the security door in the hotel, and then you enter the kitchen – apparently according to a guide I read, there is a clicker there who gets attacked by hunters, you then need to kill the hunters, go to the dining room, and prop the ladder against the wall and re-unite with Ellie
Right?
Wrong.. on my version, I saw the clicker mysterious commit suicide by the hot plates (I seriously thought something had popped and killed him on the hot plates)… i waited.. noticed he wasnt moving.. no one else was there… I walked up to him and then POP – he disappeared (like the old arcade light gun games where the dead guys disappear after you shoot them)
So yes, I saved some ammo/health not fighting hunters, but the downside was that the ladder didnt spawn, meaning I was stuck in the dining area… After about 9 minutes (coz thats what the pause screen ‘restart encounter’ option said) of hunting the area looking for the way out I logged on and read a guide (hence found out about the glitch I had) – reloaded the encounter, and luckily it restarted from where the ladder should have been placed! And the ladder was there…
I had a funny glitch where for the first time in a long time I supported a game on release, and lost 5 hours of gameplay until they patched the autosave glitch… fml.
No issues with the game itself though except for some questionable NPC movements similar to the last video.

Heh, love the one where Sarah jumps in the car whilst Joel and Tommy are talking frantically, then they just freeze in neutral model positions… It’s like… “… What now?” 😛
