Here, Have Six Minutes Of Grand Theft Auto V In First Person

I'm super excited for Grand Theft Auto V on PS4 and Xbox One. Not just for the improved performance — although that is a huge part of it — but mainly because of the all-new first person mode. I'm still uncertain of whether it'll feel gimmicky or not, but at the very least I think it's worth replaying the game for. This six minute video, presumably from one of the leaked copies doing the rounds, shows off what you can expect from first person Grand Theft Auto V.

It looks great, which is to be expected really, but what is surprising me about first person GTA is how accessible and easy it looks to play. I had always imagined it might be something I'd try for five minutes and switch off, but it looks as though Rockstar has done an incredible job of actually making its first person view a legitimately playable experience. Based off this video I'm seriously considering playing a new game from scratch and exclusively playing from that perspective.

Anyway, not long to wait now! Grand Theft Auto V comes out tomorrow in Australia for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

    Dat copyright claim.

Geez Mark, you made them take it down. Now we'll never know!

Am I the only one who would prefer an AUS release date for GTA:SA on the 360?

    Edit: Shit, wrong link. :S

I've been hearing GTAV is selling early around the place? Anyone got any idea if its true?

I went out to JB and EB in Canberra Centre at lunch and nothing, really keen to pick-up Far Cry 4 and GTA V early :P I find that JB usually puts their stock out for the next day just before they close the preceding day (5.15ish?). It's how I got Duke Nukem Forever the night before it was released for $80, no regrets there...

That's funny because I got Duke Nukem Forever early from jb as well because they told us we could pick up our pre order because they had already sold early copy's to people

    a 6 minute one.

First person is nice, but you will be at a distinct disadvantage in deathmatch unless view can be locked to 3rd or 1st etc.

Can you drink cans of sprunk in 1st person?
