Todd McFarlane’s demonic anti-hero comic Spawn is reaching its anniversary #250 issue this month and Image is not only celebrating it with a triple-sized release, but with some cool small things like this illustrated chart, that shows all of Spawn’s costumes.
With Spawn issue #250 coming up at the end of the month…. I thought it would be COOL to put together all the different costumes Spawn has had over the years.
And if you’re doing the maths, that’s 24 YEARS. TWENTY-FOUR!!!!!!!! It’s cool to look back and see how things have changed since 1992….it’s hard to believe we’re already coming up on our #250th issue.
Thanks for all your support over the years!!! I’ll be doing a giveaway with these, soon.
TODD
Here’s the full chart with all the costumes (hell yeah Commando Spawn) and here it is in higher res, also shared by Todd McFarlane, if you’d like to print it out.

Damn, I know Todd McFarlane made this, but come on, “Evolution of Spawn”? Half of them are entirely different Hellspawns, and two are just without a mask.
Worst. Article. Ever. :p
Oh, I’m sure there have been worse 🙂
That stylish moon boot from #32-#139 is hilarious. Can hardly believe they thought it was good enough to bring back in #201.
We need MORE torn cape fabric, I say! MORE!
I love Spawn. I’ve never read the comics. I got started with the animated series starring Keith David, which was amazing and too short-lived.
Anyone know where I could find the comics, starting from issue 1?
you can buy collected editions, so best bet is bookdepository.co.uk or Image’s own digital distro service.
I almost forgot about the issue 250 coming up, thanks for this.
