Well, This Is The Weirdest Video Game Ever Made

Are you into David Lynch, Captain Beefheart and assaults on your eyeballs and brains? Boy, do I have the game for you.

It's called Where They Cremate the Roadkill and I am overwhelmed, confused and -- most of all -- terrified.

This is how the developers describe the project...

Stirred from trickster myths and early folk tales Where They Cremate the Roadkill is an exploration based action RPG for Windows and Mac that features a fool on an outing to make their fortune where fortune has no foot hold. Here even the land is in conspiracy against you. To succeed they'll have to play a careful game or they'll be the next card to enter their opponents hand.

Yep. Clear as mud. Apparently the game takes place in a treelike open world where every decision plays out its karma. Again, I have no idea what that means.

But there's a Kickstarter, and the team is asking for a small amount of money, which they've almost made already in just a couple of days. I for one am intrigued by whatever the hell this is supposed to be. Keeping an eye on it for sure.

Much more 90's SBS or indie animation/Liquid TV than David Lynch but I got the gist ;-)

    Still looks cool.

Reminds me a lot of 12oz. Mouse.

Will certainly keep an eye on this.
