Scalebound Looks Crazy, Features Giant Enemy Crab

Today at Microsoft's E3 press conference, Platinum Games showed off a massive co-op boss fight from Scalebound, their take on Monster Hunter-ish co-op beast slaying.

Platinum's Hideki Kamiya called this sequence "the biggest boss fight platinum has ever made," which is saying something. Having watched the clip, I buy it. That is a very big crab.

The game is coming to both Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017, and like the rest of the exclusives at Microsoft's E3 conference will support Microsoft's new "Play Anywhere" cross-buy and cross-play initiative.

No THAT is how you giant enemy crab!

Man that looks so cool, if only that guy would just shut the hell up and let the crab do the talking.

the biggest boss fight platinum has ever made ... remember that time you fought a god in Bayonetta and punched it through the solar system and into the sun?

It's definitely a lot slower paced than most platinum games and I hope there's an option to shut Drew up in the boss fights.

So no character customization, we have to look like alt-universe emo dantes?

Pass.......does nothing for me, hope you guys have fun.

Hmm not a crab, but a scorpion. Also what the hell is with the chatty attitude PC, man that character is annoying as hell after just a couple of minutes, cant imagine it will be enjoyable across an entire game.

Will keep an eye on it going forward but I am hesitant.

Am I the only one that is a bit disappointed with the whole Play Anywhere thing? I have a fairly solid gaming PC, and an Xbone Elite, now its like whats the point of having the console? All their big Microsoft games are coming to win 10 as well....
