Pokemon GO Will Be On Apple Watch By Year's End

Since Pokemon GO launched earlier this year, smartwatch owners have been bemoaning the lack of a corresponding wrist app. Bemoan no more. During today's Apple event, Pokemon GO support was announced for the Apple Watch.

An Apple Watch owner myself, I've been keenly aware of the lack of Pokemon GO support, which seemed like such a no-brainer. Myself and other watch owners assumed Nintendo and Niantic were withholding smartwatch support in order to push their own Pokemon GO Plus accessory. Happy to be proven wrong.

Available before the holidays, the Apple Watch extension of Pokemon GO will display nearby Pokemon, alert players when wild Pokemon appear for capture and monitor the distance required to walk in order to hatch eggs, all while tracking the user's health information.

Unbelieveable. Apple merely make an announcment. I've had it on my motoroloa 360 since about 2 weeks after pokemon was released.
By the time Apple come to the party, everyone will have packed up and gone home.

    just google "pokemon smartwatch 360"

But will it be available on first edition watches?
