You are a Zelda fan. You wake up on Christmas morning to find this: a gorgeously handmade treasure chest in the style of your favourite video game series, The Legend of Zelda. This is just the beginning.
Inside is an gorgeous looking red potion a compass, and a map of your apartment in the style of A Link To The Past. The map is of your apartment. On the map is the location of other ‘treasure chests’. Those treasure chests are your actual Christmas gifts.
Seriously, this is incredible.
This is what reddit user Mangagurl has put together for her husband’s Christmas and I am so insanely jealous. I am married to a woman who thought a nose-hair trimmer was the perfect Christmas gift.
Head here to find out more about how it was all made. Amazing.

I now have the “it’s dangerous to go alone, take this” line from this Zelda rap bouncing around in my head.
Also that is ridiculously cool.
For my birthday last year my girlfriend got me some custom painted LoZ converse shoes. She made a similar chest to put them along with some rupees. It was seriously the best present ever.
Did it play the “Item Get” tune when it was opened?
That’s the only way it could’ve been any more awesome!

Soooooo jelly.
Zelda would have been a MUCH different game if you were given a nose hair trimmer instead of a sword….
hahah made me laugh out loud. just thinking of @markserrels wild, untamed nose hairs…
I bought some Indiana Jones blu rays wrapped them up and wrote “To Daddy from” and then got my kid to scribble on them. I look forward to opening them soon.
Seriously, sometimes you gotta do it yourself or say “Honey, I would like [specific game title] for Xmas this year”.
Awesome!!!!
