A strangely muted week to one of the most pack May schedules I’ve ever seen. Still: we have a new Hitman episode, Oxenfree comes out on PS4 and The Witcher’s new Blood and Wine expansion hits digital stores.
Dangerous Golf (Xbox One/PS4/PC)
What is it? Dangerous Golf is a mental golf game made by ex-Criterion developers.
Should you care? I’d say yes. I love golf. I also have a soft spot for golf video games.
Dead Island: Definitive Edition (Xbox One/PS4/PC)
What is it? It’s probably a good week for this to come out. Not much else out there.
Should you care? Still, I’d skip this. The original wasn’t that great. Get Dying Light instead.
Hitman: Episode 3 (Xbox One/PS4/PC)
What is it? It’s the latest episode of the new Hitman reboot.
Should you care? I’m ashamed to say I’ve been sleeping on this but, but all accounts it’s solid.
KNIGHTS (PC)
What is it? It’s a minimalist puzzle game about the BEST chess piece — the KNIGHT.
Should you care? I love these kind of games. Looks very sophisticated and nice.
One Piece: Burning Blood (Xbox One/PS4/PS Vita)
What is it? It’s another One Piece game.
Should you care? I know very little about this. One for the fans I suppose.
Oxenfree (PS4)
What is it? It’s a brilliantly made spooky teenage drama about time travel, strange dimensions and um… relationships and stuff.
Should you care? It’s one of my favourite games of 2016. I love this game.
The Witcher 3: Blood And Wine (Xbox One/PS4/PC)
What is it? We don’t normally put DLC stuff in This Week In Games, but I’ll make an exception for this. Because it’s The Witcher, because it looks super good.
Should you care? Yes, absolutely. Get on it.
Picking anything up? Did we miss anything? Let us know in the comments.

Keen to try Dangerous Golf, will be a good six months before I can. But keen.
Also out this week:
Neon Chrome (PS4)
Steamworld Heist (PS4/Vita)
There Came an Echo (PS4)
Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus is also out this week on PC if that’s your jam.
Steamworld Heist is now expected next week: http://imageform.se/steamworld-heist-delayed-playstation-new-release-dates/
Just want to let you know that a whole ton of us really appreciate you taking the time to add the things you do to this list each week, so thank you 🙂
Does Australia get Blood & Wine tomorrow (the 31st) or Wednesday (the 1st to match up with global release)?
most likely wednesday, as CDPR do gobal releases. Bethesda is the only company i know of that does a Staggered Gobal Release
The Aussie PSN said the 31st, so will try tomorrow. If no dice, no issue.
it could release tomorrow afternoon/evening if the release is set to GMT or central Europe time
Have the 1.20 update going through right now, so shall see.
The physical version (PC & PS4 only) will be available on the 31st.
I might give Dangerous Golf a look, depending on how much it costs.
On PSN it was around $25 from memory
So keen for Witcher!
Also, keen for mods on Xbox One for Fallout 4 😀
Oh wow, dangerous golf is out this week?! For some reason I thought it was a 2017 game – probably got it confused with all the other golf games coming out soon (like for real – 100ft robot golf, dangerous golf, actual real golf game)
Been wanting another Outlaw Golf for years, but it looks like Dangerous Golf is the closest I’m gonna get, so I guess I’ll be picking it up.
