If you missed all of the deals over the holidays, or you ventured into an area where you couldn’t capitalise on the discounts, never fear. PSN still has a bunch of games on sale, and most of them are pretty good.
It’s part of the store’s January sale, which has discounts on 162 individual games. Most of those are small indie titles, but there’s plenty of offerings on older AAA titles and some good 2016 releases.
From least expensive to most expensive, here’s what you can get right now. Offers that are particularly good are noted in bold.

- XCOM 2: $39.95
Plenty of solid offerings. DOOM’s campaign alone is great value at that price if you haven’t got it already, although the value you get from both the MGS5 games and Bloodborne is worth your time too. Mortal Kombat XL is good fun at that price, and paying just over $10 for Hand of Fate or Unravel is worth it.
The sale will run until just before 11:00am AEDT on January 21, so you’ve got almost a full fortnight to take advantage.

I mean… Unravel was $7.45 on Xbox very recently (not sure if still), so maybs not worth bolding that one?
DA: Inquisition GOTY edition was under $10 on Xbox last week… Another unbold? 😛
Xcom 2 at $39 is worth bolding tho! It’s $48 on Xbox
Bloodborne at $25?? Worth anyone picking up at that price!
I bought soooo many PSN games during the December sales. I now have more games on PSN for the PS4 than physical copies, a complete turnaround from the PS3.
Any I can get that aren’t on PC?
Bloodborne
Bloodborne <3
Also Until Dawn and Uncharted that I can see.
Worth noting that those prices are generally PS+ only. Add a few bucks more if you don’t have it.
If you love your stat driven and challenging RPGs, hard to go past Darkest Dungeon for around $20. I took the plunge and am loving it.
Is that cross buy/play? Super enticed if I can take it with me on vita as well…
Indeed it is, cross buy and play. Controls take a bit of getting used to (to be honest they need some work, not very intuitive at times), however the core gameplay is stellar, if brutal.
Yeah I bought that one and have enjoyed what I’ve played of it so far. Agree that the controls (and UI) could use some improvement.
I picked up Doom for $25. I thought that was an outstanding price.
Damn! Mirror’s Edge Catalyst for $13 (PSN+ price). I said I’d get this when the price is decent. Time to pony up, I suppose.
Bloodborne is tempting too, but I can wait until I have the time to play this. Probably some time next year. Or the year after.
Also, why is Firewatch not in bold? Is this not a notable price?
Mortal Kombat XL is listed as $30.95 (additional 10% discount on top of that if you have PS+)
Hmm, Firewatch is $17.95 for me (non-plus) or the bundle with the theme (that tons of people rave about) is $19.55
Eh, might as well.
Bought the one that came bundled with the theme and definitely do not regret it. Haven’t even started the game yet (still finishing FFXV), but the theme is tied with the Journey theme as my favourites. It even changes colour based on the time of day.
I’m going to pick up:
Dead Rising Triple Pack: $40.35 (3 games for $40? SOLD!)
Ultra Street Fighter IV: $14.95 (Since Street Fighter V still does not have a single player arcade mode)
Trials Season Pass: $7.55 (Got a second hand copy of the game, but I want the Season Pass)
$6 for Ground Zeroes is what is should’ve been on Day 1.
