While most of the more irate grumbling on cross-play has come from players, developers and publishers have been more diplomatic in their views. Over the weekend at QuakeCon, however, Bethesda's Pete Hines took a stronger stance with regards to Elder Scrolls: Legends.


While it's never reached the heights of Hearthstone, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, Bethesda's crack at the lucrative digital card game market, has been quietly ticking along since its release over a year ago. However, it appears the publisher wants bigger and better things for ES:L, after announcing yesterday it is kicking original developer Dire Wolf to the curb.
