I’m standing on a bridge connecting two small mountains, staring at the tree-laden canyon and small river below. I turn around and walk towards the road, trying to find my bearings and get a handle on the controls. Seconds later, a car plows into me.
Last we heard, the fabled multiplayer modification of Just Cause 3 had hit a road block after one of the key developers was pinched by Avalanche Studios. I guess it wasn’t too big a deal — a year on and the mod is on the cusp of release.
On a popular torrent site, Fallout 4 has been downloaded nearly 140,000 times. Nearly 200 people are downloading right now, as I write this. AAA or indie, Fallout 4 or Super Meat Boy, it doesn’t matter. Piracy is inevitable. But a torrent doesn’t appear out of thin air.
