Other than that, well, your options aren't extensive. 1C Company, the publisher/developer best known for IL-2 Sturmovik and the Men of War series has announced Re-Legion, which shares more than a passing resemblance to Bullfrog's classic.
If you're a fan of the Syndicate sequel but find the experience of playing ancient Bullfrog titles through DOSBox a little impractical, then I have a port for you.
For those looking to get in on the wars of the syndicates... *ahem* I mean, the reign of the satellites, this Brisbane-made Kickstarter darling just hit Early Access on Steam.
Memory can be a strange thing. Especially with old games. We've all returned to a beloved classic to discover something unplayable and been unable to reconcile warm memories with the broken experience of something that hasn't aged well. (For me it's Resi 2, which is regularly reloaded and ditched within hours.)
