If you were planning on purchasing any Transformers video games on Steam or the PlayStation Network over the holidays, it's too late. Activision's pulled them all, along with 2014's The Legend of Korra.

Here we see speedrunner Halfcoordinated taking out the Autobots' most feared enemy with one punch during his Awesome Games Done Quick run of Transformers: Devastation on its highest difficulty level. That would be an impressive feat even if he were playing with both hands.
To quote a tiny yellow robot during one of Transformers: Devastation's many brilliant moments, "I did not see that coming." Despite the killer cel-shaded look and a cast packed with voice actors from the '80s cartoon reprising their roles as the original robots in disguise, all signs pointed towards Transformers: Devastation being a massive disappointment.
Video: A new trailer for Platinum's upcoming Transformers: Devastation game will give gamers of a certain age flashbacks to their childhood. It's still hard to tell if this game is much more than an arena brawler, though there do seem to at least be some transformation-based moves. For PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
Leaked this weekend via website and retail listing, Platinum Games' Transformers: Devastation is officially a real thing, and it looks just prime.
