Your Six-Sided Take On The World

Kotaku AU

It’s the second last day of our happy new tradition of coming into the office and seeing hexagons that should not be. If you want to win a copy of Civilization V, competition doors close tonight! Here are some more awesome entries…

To win a copy of Civilization V, a CivAnon T-shirt, and CivAnon badge, all you have to do is Photoshop something that would normally be a different shape, like a cubicle or (as suggested in the comments) a toilet, into a hexagon. Because, let’s face it – when you’re playing Civilization V, you’re going to be seeing hexagons in the real world all over the place anyway.

Very strong contenders as usual. If you want to have a last minute grasp at the prize (one of five prizes, anyway), check out the main competition thread. Winners will be announced tomorrow!

Andrew, could you please elaborate? If anybody is actually cheating, then Jung ought to know – if you’ve seen any of these before, please provide a source.

Nice work – very poor form by the entrants (I am assuming George Hart isn’t actually on Kotaku sending in his own art work…)

The hexagonal sun is also on another website

You can use tineye.com to see if these pics are just off the web. Just upload the pic or type in the address and it will search the web for similar pics. All the other entries listed here are original, tineye.com actually found the original unedited pics.

Just checked the rest of the entries posted on Kotaku, they all seem to be originals.
Do I get an award for this? :)

Oh god… I literally just submitted my entry in the last minute. Hopefully you received it before the deadline and I think in my state of panic I somehow sent 2 emails :P

NOTE TO SELF: Don’t leave things til the last minute!
