Just because Double Fine doesn’t have enough of your money already, Amazon is offering a pretty swell deal — selling Psychonauts, Stacking and Costume Quest for $9.99 on PC.
Today, Double Fine art director Lee Petty (project lead on Stacking, among other things) tweeted the picture above, saying “This is what happens if you leave things on your desk at Double Fine…”
If we had any quibbles with Stacking, Double Fine’s acclaimed downloadable game, it’s that it felt held back in a semi-conspicuous way – one that might have foretold a sequel or a DLC extension. Lo and behold, the latter is indeed coming.
I was totally going to buy Stacking on the weekend. Totally. But I got totally distracted by doing other stuff. Like watching my nearest and dearest play LittleBigPlanet 2 all frickin’ weekend long. This is why I want to know – directly from you guys – whether or not Stacking is worth buying and playing.
Double Fine’s Stacking is one of the newest perks for PS3 owners who subscribe to PlayStation Plus. PS+ members will get the Russian doll adventure on day one (February 8). More good PlayStation Plus news at the PlayStation.blog.
Double Fine’s Stacking, the gorgeous, funny, inventive adventure based on Russian matryoshka dolls arrives February 8 for PlayStation Network, a day later for Xbox Live Arcade. Playing with dolls with cost $US14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points, depending on your platform.
