Everything you need to know about the current PSN situation can be found here, but whereas, initially, the PSN situation was thought to be temporary, Sony are now officially claimed that the service will be down indefintely with no “update or timeframe to share at this point in time.”
“I know you are waiting for additional information on when PlayStation Network and Qriocity services will be online,” claimed Patrick Seybold, Sr. Director, Corporate Communications & Social Media. “Unfortunately, I don’t have an update or timeframe to share at this point in time.
“As we previously noted, this is a time intensive process and we’re working to get them back online quickly. We’ll keep you updated with information as it becomes available. We once again thank you for your patience.”
For Sony not to officially come out and state an official timeline, at this stage, after all the fuss, is a pretty big deal. We’ll have all the news on the situation tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll have more concrete details on a specific timeline then.
