Well done, Kotaku. You showed our guest scribbler Danny who’s boss by guessing his game in the first comment. You even found an identical screenshot from the game. BAM! Pwnage. He’s in the corner crying now. But he beat me in FIFA yesterday, so there’s his silver lining. Can you guess today’s?

Good luck!

ScribbleTaku is Kotaku’s newest lunchtime game. We give ourselves 30 seconds to draw an old game on a sticky note, and it’s your job to guess what it is! Come back every day at noon for a new ScribbleTaku! Feel like sending one in? Shoot us an email here.

    • Hell yeah, in QBasic!

Though you totally spelled Gorilla correctly 😛

EDIT: Those included games in QBasic were awesome. I never really hacked Gorilas, but I did muck around a lot with Nibbles, and it’s basically how I learnt to program. Did things like created extra maps (including some that were randomly impossible when you started, and had to die to rearrange things), changed the colours of the walls, and even added a third player and an ending screen. I guess that was part of the reason they included the game – so that you could learn how to do all this stuff. Still, good times.

  • i remember this from year 9 computers
spent more time playing this than doing the actual work……looking back should have paid more attention and less game playing 🙁
