The Walking Dead Set For Retail Release In Australia

Much like Mortal Kombat, The Walking Dead was a well received game that didn’t make it to our shores — on console at least. The Walking Dead had been available on Steam since its release, but was only recently added to both the Xbox LIVE and PSN services. Following that, it seems as though the game is also set for release in retail stores nationwide.

The Walking Dead will receive its retail release on May 9 in Australia and May 10 in New Zealand. At this stage I’m guessing that most of you will have either bought and played this, or have no plans to play it, but it is good news to see games like this and Mortal Kombat, games that were held back by Australian classification issues, finally get proper releases.
