LET’S ROCK!
watching it, i thought, “man, those sprites are really nice, it’s great to see a sprite based fighter”
then it went 3D.
seriously amazing looking, never really played the GG series, but that art style may have ocnvinced me to try it.
<3 Daisuke Ishiwari for his amazing music. I -really- hope he’s attached to the upcoming Blazblue anime, too!
I don’t think I can truly express my happiness at seeing a trailer for a brand new Guilty Gear in words. With the apathy I’ve been feeling towards gaming news in general for a good chunk of this year (particularly with the unengaging console reveals we’ve had), it’s great to have a trailer bring a literal smile to my face, even when it comes from something as simple as “those are some nicely animated spri-OH MY GOD 360-DEGREE PAN THESE ARE 3D MODELS AND THIS IS A REAL THING!”.
