At time of writing it’s 5.16am and I am heading to the airport so that I can be at GCAP in Melbourne in time for 8.30am. Yep, hard times daddy. So this post is being written literally while you are sleeping. WHOA.
Let’s get to it.
In the midst of this mega Pokemon geek out we’re currently dealing with, you might be feeling a little left out. Like you aren’t part of the conversation. You are not alone. This article is called ‘Why I Can’t Get Into Pokemon’ and it may hit buttons for some. I’m one of those poor and few. I was a surly, pretentious teenager when Pokemon came out. I had no time for this baby’s game. I know. I suck. But for this trip I have brought my 3DS and a copy of Pokemon X. I will try and get into this crazy series!
Now we have a politician and an ex-politician. One is awesome on purpose the other is awesome by accident. Arnold Schwarzenegger, of course, was awesome on purpose. This guy? Trying to play the scare game with video games? He was awesome by accident. He may never be awesome again.
What else? This story about a failed Kickstarter and how it affected a game’s development is interesting and Blizzard is looking for you to design a legendary item for Diablo III.
