I guess it’s nice that somebody is still working on Dawn of War 2. I’d rather Relic work on Dawn of War 3, but hey, I’ll take what I can get.
Even if it is a DLC offering called the Ridiculously Bloody Blood Pack. Isn’t there enough blood in DoW 2 already?
That’s what’s appeared on the PEGI ratings system in the last few hours. A string of games have popped up on their recently, so it’s always worth checking. The European content rating agency inadvertently leaked the announcement of DRIVECLUB BIKES before Paris Games Show kicked off, and earlier this morning it’s also let slip that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is finally coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
But now there’s a new bit of news to report. Dawn of War 2 Retribution, the second stand-alone expansion for Relic’s action-RTS, is getting a new DLC. According to the PEGI listing it’s called the Ridiculously Bloody Blood Pack, which sounds like someone got cheeky and decided to put an Unreal Tournament instagib mutator into DoW 2.
“The content of this game is suitable for persons aged 16 years and over only. It contains: Realistic looking violence,” the listing adds. Relic are listed as the developers on the DLC as well, although there’s no official listing for the DLC on Relic’s site and SteamDB.info hasn’t picked up any packages or store listings referring to the DLC.
What would you like to see from a Ridiculously Bloody Blood Pack?

Please make Dawn of War 3, and return to the root multiplayer gameplay of the original please. Thanks Relic 🙂
^Absolutely.
DoW1 is significantly better than DoW2. It’s just a bit dated looking nowadays.
As above, but single-player, please.
Base-building and massive armies, not this tactics-focused MOBA-wannabe stuff.
Blood for the Blood God? Perhaps with a decorative throne made of skulls.
Loved the DoW2 games but damned if I dont want to go back to base building like Dark Crusade.
Actually just a decent new RTS with good old base building would be fantastic. At least there are a few interesting prospects on the horizon
RIDICULOUSLY BLOODY BLOOD FOR THE RIDICULOUSLY BLOODY BLOOD GOD.
I loved DOW2. DOw was good, but it was another RTS in a world with many great RTS games. The small team tactical RPG feel of DOW 2 was fantastic. I want another!
