What Are You Playing This Weekend?

Ah, the weekend. Those glorious few days where we are free of all responsibilities - aside from most of the non-work related responsibilities - and can do whatever we want. Like vacuum a stranger's house.

What are you playing this weekend?

Rumu came out earlier this week and I'm enamored with the little robot vacuum. After sinking an hour into the game, I've expressed love for every inanimate object I could find, tried to set things on fire and tidied up all of the little messes left behind by David and Cecily.

I've started to pull at the story threads and can't wait to give them a solid tug over the weekend.

There's also a copy of Altiplano that's been sitting on my dining table for the last few weeks. I would absolutely love a chance to carry goods across the Andean plateau while accompanied by an alpaca.

Enough about me, what about you? What are you playing this weekend?

Finished Far Cry Primal and now onto the next game in my backlog: Wolfenstein: The New Order. I'm up to the 4th mission and it's great so far, but I wonder if I'm trying to be too stealthy? Should I go in guns blazing or try and not be seen?

I found you can play either way. Usually i would try to start a level playing stealthy and then once the alarms go off switch to guns blazing.

I'd often just replay levels when trying to unlock the stealth related achievements.

I think my play style is being influenced from my recent play-through of Dishonored, which I thought was waaaaaaay more rewarding when playing stealthily. With this game though, so far I don't think I'll feel like I'm doing the game a disservice if I go with the guns blazing approach.

All I remember of my playthrough of TNO was the amazing story, and leaving a red mist in the wake of dual-wielded full-auto shotguns from about the third or fourth mission onwards.

      Stealth is overrated. :P

I’ll try to finish off Nioh, before continuing with AC Origins. Wasn’t going to buy it yet but ... it was on sale! So far I’m quite enjoying the early assassin adventures of Bayek/Adrian Pimento.

Assasins creed black flag, got it for freeeeeeeee from Uplay.

Game runs like a dog, took a good 30 minutes to get it not to crash (apparently it does not like anti ailising)

Controls are also quite janky compared to other similar titles (shadow of mordor)

All in all pretty fun though.

Also might play some Grid Autosport even though the AI is ridiculous.

Stardew Valley, about 2/3 of the way through winter of first year and have just fixed the bus, so will explore a new area. Also Zelda DLC. And I just remembered there is a Splatfest on too. So I will probably prioritise that. My weekend is already slammed with non gaming stuff. At least it's my last day or work for the year.

Still waiting for the major update for Squad so I have been playing Rimworld to pass the time.

Home alone! So plenty of games for me - mostly divinity 2, probably some dirt rally / dirt 4, maybe some Smite on PS4. I have been keen to check out Rimworlds new update, but if I start with that, I won’t get time to play anything else! Oh, also just bought Star Wars: empire at war on steam for us$7 so I may give that a go too

Finally got into Stellaris after having it installed and unplayed for month so that.. and Fallout 4

You can also pick up a free copy of Company of heroes 2 on the humble bundle for the next day which might tide people over on the weekend

i am like 20 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and i think i'm like 20% through the game at most?

so yeah, more xenoblade, i've hit the point where the battle system appears to be complete and you can do some really cool stuff with it.

Gorogoa and the sequel to To The Moon are out, this weekend cannot come soon enough.

More AC Origins and Factorio for me! Might finally start properly playing out Nioh and HZD on PS4 too.

I'm thinking about picking up my first 3D printer to play with. I just have to decide which one. I'm leaning towards a Creality CR-10 or a Prusa i3 MK3 at this stage. Suggestions are welcome.

ELITE - the Thargoids have started attacked starbases and I'm heading in to help with evacuation of civilians...

I'm also playing Whamaggedon (still in - had a close shave yesterday in a shopping centre but it was Careless Whisper not Last Christmas...) and I'll probably play a little Destiny 2.

Saturday is Star Wars Day for Trike and Mrs Trike. Woohoo.

Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd on Vita.
    Steins Gate 0 on Vita.
    Mass Effect Andromeda on PS4.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Switch mostly. Also going to revisit The Division on PS4 since I hear the new update is pretty awesome.
