Who Wrote The Best Review In April?

Every month we publish your reader reviews. And every month we award a prize pack for the best review we publish. Let’s find out who won for April.

But first, what’s that prize? Thanks to the very kind chaps at Madman Entertainment, purveyor of all kinds of cool, indie and esoteric film, the best reader review we publish each month will win a prize pack containing ten of the latest Madman DVD and/or Blu-ray releases.

All you have to do is send your review to us at the usual address. Make sure it’s written in the standard format and in under 500 words. We’ll publish the best ones we get and the best of the month will win a Madman prize pack. Every review published between April 1 and April 30 was eligible for this month’s prize draw.

So, our April winner is…

Alex Walker!

Do we have to review contemporary games?

Could I review say, Donkey Kong Country 2?

      Contemporary games, please.

I know that you prefer newer games, or at least from this generation, but perhaps that could be another article to consider...

Prizes aren't required for the best one, but with SNES, MD games being released on the VC, or PSone games on the PS Store and the Live On Demand service. Overall we could have "LTTP Reviews" (Sorry for resorting to interwebs speak! :p)

For games that you never got around to playing when they were first released, forgot about it for awhile and then found it on the cheap and decided to pick it up.

Maybe a Weekly "Gameplay Dump" thread, during the week as we playthrough games, we can share our experiences playing whatever game we are playing, where we are upto, etc... the only real issue with the thread is the potential for spoilers for heavy story games. So they aren't quite reviews, but game commentaries so other people can get a feel of games they weren't quite sure of...

          Yeah

This guy has a good reason!
Actually I didn't even consider the virtual console, that would mean reviews of games like Perfect Dark and Castlevania: SotN!

I'd also like to do a review in response to FF13 suggesting players check out Lost Oddyssey or Blue Dragon.

can i write a review of how shit Sony is?

2 dead ps3's in a matter of months, and all conviently while i was playing MW2 online.. tell me that 2 ps3's dying, during the same game isn't a coincidence..

      No, you may not.

I'm not sure that a sample size of two is great statistical evidence.

        i know... :(

    Awesome!

Gratz! I'm sorry you didn't win a good game, though.

Having your review acknowledged as best of the month is a prize in itself.
