Now This Is How You Do An Artistic Trailer

Certainly, the first sports game trailer to give me some rather strong vibes of the Wagnerian sort, in any case. Apart from classical music, we also get a better look at the latest instalment of Konami’s yearly soccer series, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014.

PES 2014, which was featured briefly during Konami’s pre-E3 show last week, will be powered by the same engine that Metal Gear Solid V runs on, the Fox engine. According to PES creative producer Kei Masuda, this engine “will impress users with an ever evolving game experience, and makes scoring more enjoyable.” It will also help achieve the game’s ultimate goal, which is to “capture the true essence of football.”

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is slated to arrive on September 30 for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP.
