Community Kudos

It’s the end of the week, and I’m so so tired. [Wakes up] OOOOOOKKKKAAAAAAY! Time for Community Kudos!

First nom off the nom boat was a DC nom.

I nominate @bdkiaf for this.

I’d also like to nominate @strange for helping me get a Beyond: Two Souls Special Edition last week. I’m serious when I say that if it wasn’t for her I’d have the standard edition and that would’ve made this Quantic Dream fanboy sad. She’s awesome! Nommed so often she’s got her own tag, but still deserving today as she was then!

I still haven’t played Beyond: Two Souls yet, and lent my copy to Ben while I’m playing through Wind Waker HD. How is everyone finding it?

Also, BDKIAF, what an amazing gesture. As a new Dad, that was a nice thing to do.

For some reason this week was all about the machine gun noms. I guess when you’re dropping nom bombs one word is enough!

Effluvium Boy

Transientmind made some noms that were very nice. Also, I have a question…

1) Everyone who sent @freezespreston letters of reference, professionally or personally. He’s getting dicked over in a big way, and the community’s doing what they can to help. Some more effectively than the rest of us, but only Freeze would know who those are.
2) @welbot for his use of a truly ballsy and wonderful pickup line last week. More TAYbies need to be using cheesy lines! He sets an example for us all.
3) @popdart5 and @redartifice for the effort put into the Numenera run. Red’s doing a great job running things, and Popdart’s put in some great work on write-ups and a blogsite/google page for resources.

First off, what was the line that Welbot used! That guy is a bit of a pun master, so I need to know!

Secondly, I hope things will get better for you Freeze, I know they will!

Speaking of which…

Just quickly I want to send a Nom to @shane, @dc and @virus__ for their help with a bit of a tight spot I’m in.

This week everyone has been playing Pokemon. I totally feel left out because I don’t understand Pokemon at all. Maybe I’ll give this crazy series a try.

I wish to break my drought of kudos noms with one for @beavwa.
The man has acquired a shiny Pikachu and has set it aside just for me. My Pokemon X and Y should be delivered today, so I’m like super excited. My enthusiasm for Pikachu and most notably his evolution, Raichu has not gone unnoticed.

I offer @beavwa as a tasty sacrifice to appease the heathen Gawker gods.
He will be tasty, and may or may not repeat on you for the rest of the day.

And finally, with all the bushfires going on I thought this nom was the best to end on this week.

Nova Cascade
I’d like to nom @Nomad for being an awesome guy and sending me a message asking how my family is doing with the fires that are ripping through the Blue Mountains at the moment.

Unofficial noms for my girlfriends stepdad for saving their house and every single firefighter who have been doing such amazing work all across the state.

Stay safe everyone! And I think this week the winrar has to be BDKIAF.

Have a great weekend.
