Mordheim: City of the Damned popped its head up late last year and since then, stuff has happened. This stuff includes a launch on Steam Early Access, the release of pretty screenshots and several videos showing off gameplay. The Unity 5-powered title looks to be shaping up nicely — feel free to pass your own judgement’s using the material here.
Of course, you can just hit up the game’s page on Steam directly, where you’ll find even more gameplay clips and images, along with patch notes showing the game incremental, though constant progress towards a proper release.
Going by the stills alone, it’s hard to see the “turn-based” aspects of the game, but a viewing of the video below should give you an idea of how it works.
According to Steam reviews, it’s 85 per cent good, which I’ll take as a positive sign. If you’d like to get in on the action, $US31.99 will get you a copy of the Early Access version.

Still waiting on a Necromunda game.
It can be quite fun, and quite poopies.
Obviously being an early access game it has some issues, and many of those issues are ongoing.
Logan! It’s pretty good. As you said, there is steady progress and (for the time being at least) there is plenty of community involvement 🙂
this gives me hope that a necromunda game is possible
My cousin used to have Necromunda, I had fun with it – looked it up online last year holy moly those gangs are expensive to buy now!! So yeah a PC remake would be great.
I actually have been keeping an eye on Deadzone from Mantic games.. looks like similar gameplay at a much lower price point than buying up old Necromunda.
Necromunda and Gorkamorka PC games would make me so happy.
If it came to console I would fork out the wyrd stone.
