This is Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. It’s a role-playing game made by some of the people who made 3D Dot Game Heroes and some of the people who made Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light. Nintendo showed it off during its Japanese livestream last night. And it looks wonderful.
Let’s try to ignore the fact that it’s called Bravely Default: Flying Fairy. This is the type of RPG that Western 3DS owners could really, really use right now. Just stick “Final Fantasy” somewhere in the title and bam: instant hit.
It's been so long since I've played a decent handheld RPG... this would be a godsend.
The most painful thing about the 3DS, is not the lack of games, but that you can't play games like this due to the stone-age region lock.
Looks cool, I love the highly strung emotional voice overs flying left and right! Great.

Reminds me of FF9, which in my opinion was one of the best FF in terms of art style and setting.
