While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping

While You Were SleepingWhile You Were Sleeping was a well-received romantic comedy starring the luminous Sandra Bullock and the irrepressible Bill Pullman.

It’s also the name of a new section here at Kotaku, where we round up all the best news coming in overnight, to save you trawling down the page for an excuse to not start work. Don’t say we’re not good to you!

A lot of good stuff went down last night. Medal of Honor got some attention with a review, but perhaps my favourite story of last night was a thoughtful piece by a former US Marine discussing the implications of Medal of Honor’s portrayal of a war still in progress. Well worth reading.

On a lighter note Steve Cable rattled up a cool visual of the control pad family tree, Capcom try to justify Marvel vs Capcom 3’s newly simplified controls, and EA tries to dismiss fears that Dead Space 2 won’t be scary (apparently it will be)!

  • Hey Mark, not sure if this article will gather much in the way of comments, but man, its really an ace idea to round things up! Makes life so much easier. What I’m saying is, keep this ongoing please, even if it has no comments (which would be due to the linking to the other articles.

Also, While we were sleeping the Aussies won more gold at the Australian National Games (in india)! Aussie Aussie Aussie!!

  • Oh and that pic was soooo cute, until my daughter came past and said it looks like the cat is giving the teddy a good rogering up the behind. Now I cant not think of that… Shes’s 12 going on 17…

    • If your daughter actually used the term “rogering” then i’m nominating you for the father of the year award, because that is just so awesome!

I’m so sick of hearing kids drop the F-Bomb every second word, it’s good to hear the classics coming back!

*wipes a proud tear from eye*

      • Lol yes, she took that one up from me. We have two boy dogs, one half the size of the other. They spend much time banging away at each other while licking each others ears, taking it in turns, which is hilarious to watch at first, but shouts of “quit the rogering, we’re trying to eat dinner” occur regularly.
