8If there’s been a single constant throughout the life of the PlayStation brand, it’s been Sony’s insistence on using… different means of advertising its consoles. Sometimes it’s a dismal failure, sometimes it’s a critical success, but at least it’s always interesting. A tradition this new clip continues.

Hooray, The First Free DLC For SimCity Is… An Advertisement
Developers have found clever ways to advertise brands in the games we play. Last year, we discovered that Sim City Social featured a Dunkin Donuts building that was much, much better than the normal bakeries in the game.

And it’s not bad! Lots of diversity. Some people making faces that people don’t normally make while playing video games. Weird dubsteppy music. But at least nobody’s saying things like “I’m not a gamer, but…”
