Mum went to the Doctor today and we found out her Doctor is leaving =(
He helped her out when everyone else had given up on her. (Her liver Dr. said she'd be as good as dead, pretty much)
That's terrible news Scree. Have you asked them for a referral or at least some people who you can contact? Is there going to be a replacement in the same practice or will that be one of the ones who gave up on her?
It's alright, the one that gave up on her is no longer her doctor.

My actual pile is huge but it's got a lot of games that I can safely say if I haven't touched them in 5+ years I'm not going to ever get to them so this is what I've whittled it down to. Thinking Darksiders and AssRev should get priority because there's sequels in the pipeline.
I hated Heavy Rain. It was a great story, but a terrible game. But you have got some pretty great games in that list.

Been playing G Rush over the last few days. I got pretty absorbed by it.
It has it's dull moments, but other times you're just transfixed by it all.
Also, I tried paying it at 2am after a night of drinking. Not the best idea.
If you gun AC Revelations story missions you'll finish it easyily in 2-3 hours depending on how far in you are.
So I'm organising a community playdate kind of dealio for Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition. But this isn't for the faint of heart. This is war. The game is called Diamond Rush, and I'm planning on holding it on Saturday, June 30th, mid-afternoon (until however late it goes to decide a winner) on Xbox Live.

I think I've said this before, but at the next brissy meat we nead to have two TVs, two xboxes, 8 controllers and minecraft. Playing diamond rush together like that would be pure chaos. >:D

You should put psychonauts on your list, only around 15 hrs and a great game. Or, you know, do what you want instead.
I am rather tempted. Darksiders might be subbed out for Psychonauts or something else depending on things and stuffs.

They are most definitely first on my list for July. Going to power through them in a similar fashion to how I marathoned Uncharted 2. Just without the all-nighter.
Yeah they're pretty quick, especially the episode I supposedly took my time and only clocked 6 hours in each.

I liked Portal and Im sure Portal 2 is a fine game, but at the same time I cant stand the damn IP. I dont like saying this cause I think it sounds like im just a sheep to others ideas, but I have very similar attitude towards it as Yahtzee.

I finished the first 8 worlds of 3D Land pretty quickly, but I got a bit burnt out playing through the post-game worlds. I'll finish them one day!
RDR was the same reason. I was right near the end as well!
I'd say it's worth finishing RDR for the ending. The later levels of 3D Land are some of the best except for the last level. It sucks :P
I already know what happens in the ending though (well, the main thing), so I'm not in a huge rush. It's been so long since I played the story last that it would take some getting used to. Not really up to starting over again at this point either :P

This comment will probably get lost, but damn Legend of Korra was good over the weekend.
I ended up focusing on animation, going on to watch superman vs the elite and also batman under the red hood again. I really enjoyed superman, and it had been a while since i watched under the red hood, I forgot how incredible it was, it shows everything good about Batman and really just blows me away.
Also, I started watching transformers prime after initially finding it a tad annoying and childish. After watching the end of season one and the beginning of season two i can say that it is far from childish.
On a tangent, a lot of cartoons these days seem to be aimed at adults. Thundercats, Young Justice, Legend of Korra, Transformers Prime, Under the Red Hood and Superman vs the Elite. Adult themes and ideas.
Korra was amazing. Damn things escalate quickly on that show. So many great moments.

Yep, you were right. I technically don't need anything now but I'm low on points since buying the Gold Nunchuck a few months ago so I'll be happy to take any spares in case there's a new limited thing available. I recall scree and Chuloopa were about half way to getting the Nunchuck so they should get first dibs.

I guess I'll just comment on the ones I've played:
Limbo is short so might as well go for that, Psychonauts is good fun although I haven't beaten it yet myself, Darksiders is good and fairly short too (~10 hours), Gears is gears, Batman is awesomes!
Based on length I'd go Limbo/Gears at least because they're both around 5ish hours but based on the game itself Batman is probably the best thing in your list so get that out of the way and Psychonauts I guess because that's really good too.
Yeah, I'm thinking with time constraints the short ones are probably best (like me!) so cheers for that.
Okay, so far, I'll go with Limbo, Gears and either Darksiders or Psychonauts (I never really much enjoyed Darksiders for the 20 minutes or so I played, so it's more on my "get it out of the way as quickly as possible" list). I'd like to savour Batman some more, so I think I may dedicate some extra-extra-curricular time to it, outside of this.
There's something niggling in the back of my head saying "complete the Oddworld series" but I don't think I could put myself through that much simultaneous frustration.
I would have to agree with limbo, nice quick and easy but an enjoyable experience

The crickets at Doc's(?) MGS2 Raiden comment was so funny. The Twilight Princess announcement trailer always stands out to me as a Zelda fanboy. I lost my shit as a kid when I first saw that and it seems like everyone else did too. Whenever I need a quick laugh, watching it on YouTube and hearing the crowd go nuts always puts a smile on my face :).
E3 and other conferences really need to go back to the bomb dropping and surprises, it's what makes them great. Otherwise everyone should just do their own conferences (ala Nintendo and their recent conferences) because these big ones are just becomming redundant...

Woke up this morning not feeling entirely inhuman. That's a nice change.
Was running late but a bus showed up at my stop pretty much immediately. Transferred to another bus, as usual, working on the assumption that any bus saying City-Valley would drop me off roughly outside work. That logic has been working for me for a while now. Has only failed me once.
Now it has failed me twice.
Also, the driver shut the door on me when I was getting on. Not stopping me from getting on. Physically closing the door on me as I was stepping on. Trying to grab me in their glassy embrace or some nonsense.
She failed.
